This Special Issue Brief examines the impact of landlord tenant laws on seniors housing community fees. The Brief includes discussion of community fees and security deposits, allegations and defenses regarding community fees, resident contracts and materials, a review of pertinent legal cases, and provides cost and operational data demonstrating the distinctiveness of seniors housing versus traditional residential real estate.
