The Seniors Housing Model Residence & Services Agreement was prepared by ASHA’s legal counsel, Paul A. Gordon, of Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos, & Rudy, LLP. The Agreement is designed to identify issues that should be considered in various forms of seniors housing admission contracts. The 27-page Model Agreement contains numerous optional or alternative provisions that may be used in independent living, assisted living, or continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).
